Uxbridge got on the board first tonight as Daniel Giorgio spotted Cole Bremner coming in from the point and his quick release found the top corner of the net for a 1-0 lead. The Mojacks Ben Sheremeta got that one back on a power play to send the teams to the dressing room all tied up at 1-1.
In the second Nicholas Roman fired a shot off the glove of the Mojacks goalie Conner Latchford and it bounced off the boards right to Justin Bennett who fired it into the open net.
Thomas Sheedy the workhorse player of the game called for the puck at the point and fired a shot on net where Simon Feig collected the loose puck to give the Bruins a 3-1 lead. Then it was a spectacular glove save by the Bruins Ryan McConkey while two men short, followed by a Jacob Gordon glove save as he was thrust into action due to equipment problems with one of McConkey’s goal pads. With Ryan back in goal a couple of minutes later he had to face a penalty shot by the Mojacks Carter Thornton and he played it perfectly with his blocker. Toby Cooper with the move into the slot fired home the Bruins 4th goal for a 4-1 final and a 3-0 series lead. Shots were 60-48 Bruins.
Game 4 is Sunday Feb.24th in Port Perry at 2:25 pm where the Bruins will be trying to wrap up the series but they will face a desperate Mojacks team who will give it their all to try and extend the series.
