Toby Cooper got the Bruins rolling in the first on a nice short handed breakout beating the Mojacks Cory Kuypers on the stick side and Michael Rennie followed that up banging home a rebound from Cole Bremner’s point shot.
In the second the Mojacks chipped away at the lead eventually tying it up at 2-2 after two periods of play.
The third saw action back and forth with Uxbridge getting two goals from Reilly including a back hander as he fought off his Mojack defender and a hard wrister after Thomas Sheedy flipped the puck out of his zone to Freckelton and he found Reilly for the goal.
Two game saving saves by Ryan McConkey kept the game in reach for his teammates as Ryan faced 30 shots and his counterpart Cory Kuypers had to handle 31 Bruins Shots.
So Uxbridge holds a 4 point lead on Lakefield and 5 points on North Kawartha setting up the “Crucial Match” this Friday against the Knights as these teams continue the fight to finish first.
