Welcome back Freck’s!

 

Rob Acton head coach of the Uxbridge Bruins as well as the rest of the Hockey Operations Team , are pleased to announce that Cliff Frecklton will be returning to the bench for his second year as an assistant coach. Cliff will be an important part of the coaching staff bringing with him a knowledge of the Jr C game and many of its players. “Freck”as he is affectionately know will be assisting Rob with the forwards while “Mitch” manages the D end of the bench. Welcome back Cliff !!.

Bruins Announce Assistant Coach for 2017/18!

Head Coach Rob Acton is pleased to announce that Mark Mitchell has joined the Bruins Coaching Staff as his assistant. Mark along with his wife Holly reside in Zephyr Ontario with their 3 children Elsie, Mabel and Eason, the latter is playing with the newly formed Durham Warriors in the tyke division.
Mark played one game with the Bruins in 1999 before moving up to the Markham Waxers for two seasons and then the Stouffville Spirit from 2001 through 2004 of the OJHL.
He was an assistant coach with the York Simcoe Express (YSE) Major Midgets in 2015/16 and then the YSE Minor Bantam and Uxbridge Bruins Initiation selects in 2016/17. He served one season as assistant coach with the Spirit in 2009/10.
The Uxbridge Bruins welcome Mark to the Bruins Family and continued success in the game of hockey.
