Ben Schell resigned from the Uxbridge Bruins executive as President Feb.1st as he chaired his final function at the Bruins Executive meeting. Ben is getting set to make a move from Uxbridge to London Ontario later in the week. Ben came to the Uxbridge Bruins Family 5 years ago as a trainer for the team where he was behind the bench up until last season. He then became a director as well for a few seasons before taking on the Presidents role last May at the Bruins Annual Membership Meeting.
Ben expressed “he had a great time working with the executive, the coaching staffs and all the players over the years. Couldn’t have been with a better organization.” We hope to see him back at a Bruins game sometime in the future!
Terry Sovie has taken over the role as Acting President for the remainder of the term. He joined the Bruins in 2014 as a Director and then Vice President in 2017.
Thank you Ben from your Bruins Family and good luck as settle into your new neighbourhood!
