Our Orr Division Lakefield Chiefs win the Schmalz!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Uxbridge Bruins on behalf of President Terry Sovie congratulate the Lakefield organization on becoming the 2018 Schmalz Cup Champions. You have represented the Orr Division outstandingly, well deserved.

The Chiefs defeated the Glanbrook Rangers 4-0 to take the final series 4 games to 1 for their second Championship in 5 years and the 4th in their history of Junior C hockey. Enjoy the celebration tonight, we’ll see you in the fall!

Lakefield Advances to Schmalz Cup Finals

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Congrats from the Uxbridge Bruins to the Lakefield Chiefs with a hard fought 7 game series over the Stayner Siskins with a 6-2 win. All the best representing the Orr Division in the Schmalz Cup Finals versus the Glanbrook Rangers.

Lakefield Hangs on to Defeat Port Hope!

Our Orr division Champions took a 3-0 series lead over the Port Hope Panthers but couldn’t close out the series as the Panthers came back to tie the series at 3-3 and force a game 7. The Chiefs opened up 3-0 lead and took it into the third when the never say die Tod division champions scored two late goals but could not get the equalizer.

Congrats to both teams on an exciting series and good luck to the Chiefs as our Orr division representatives.

Ayr Repeats as Schmalz Cup Champions!

Congrats to the Ayr Centennials who came back from a 2-0 deficit in games to win the Schmalz Cup tonight with a 6-3 win over the Port Hope Panthers! This is their second cup in two years! Junior C hockey is officially over for another year.

The Final Four!

The Port Hope Panthers after blowing a 3-0 lead in game 6, came back from 5-3 and forced overtime with the Lakefield Chiefs, scoring a 7-6 final and 4-2 series win over our Orr representatives. Port Hope will now play the Alliston Hornets while the Essex 73’s take on the Defending Schmalz Champions Ayr Centennials. you can follow the games at the following link.

The 2015/16 Junior C season is officially over as the Ayr Centennials before 1475 fans defeated the Port Hope Panthers 5-2 to sweep the Schmalz Cup finals 4-0. Congrats to Ayr and their Fans!

Schmalz Cup Update!

The Port Hope Panthers are making their second consecutive finals appearance after a 3-0 win over the Alliston Hornets tonight and a 4-2 series win.

The Panthers will play the Ayr Centennials which will see one of these teams win their first ever All Ontario Championship and have their name engraved on the Schmalz Cup.

Ayr is one hour and 40 mins from Uxbridge and Port hope is a 65 minute drive if you are looking to see the top two teams battle for the cup! Good luck to both teams!

Road to the Schmalz Cup!

The Ayr Centennials are the first team to advance to this years Ontario finals with a 3-2 OT win and 4 game sweep of the Essex 73’s. The other series has the Alliston Hornets leading the Port Hope Panthers 2 games to 1 with their 6-4 win today in Alliston despite being out shot 46-17. Good luck to the remaining teams in the hunt for the Championship Schmalz Cup.
