Bruins Pull Off 3rd Place Comeback with OT Win!

The Bruins Adam Bartholomew jumped up into the rush in 3 on 3 overtime and fired home the goal to give his team 3rd place in the standings. Both Clarington and Uxbridge finish tied with 52 points but the Bruins get the tie breaker in winning the season head to head with the Eagles 4 games to 3.

The first period was scoreless and then the Eagles got on the board first before Aiden Reilly tied it up at one apiece. Clarington got a late PP goal to take a 2-1 lead into the third period where the teams traded chances back and forth. Ryan McConkey made several game changing saves and at the 10:23 mark the Bruins Cameron Moffitt was sent down the left side on a pass from Simon Feig where Moffitt handcuffed the Eagles tender to tie the game up at 2-2.

Off to OT where Michael Rennie found a speeding Adam Bartholowmew and he fired home the game winner sending 235 delerious Bruins Fans out of their seats.

The Bruins will announce their playoff decision regarding the bye on Sat Feb.3rd and we will post that as soon as it is made public.
