The Bruins opened up a 4-0 lead on their way to a 5-2 win over the Knights in Apsley Sat. Oct.28th. APM goalie Antonio Villa backed up Jake Joosten tonight as Ryan McConkey was out with an undisclosed injury. Daniel Giorgio also an APM joined his brother Cristian on the roster in his second call up game with the big club. The Bruins were up 2-0 after one period on goals by Noah Donaghy from Mathew Hunter, Cameron Moffitt (PP) from Adam Bartholomew scored the second goal.
In the 2nd it was Bartholomew (PP) unassisted and Aiden Reilly from Kieran Beaudoin as they led 4-2 heading into the third.
Beaudoin added a power play goal from Hunter for a 5-2 final. Jake Joosten faced 28 shots for the win. The Bruins will be in Lakefield Tuesday Oct.31st where they will continue the battle with the Chiefs for first in a very tight Orr division.
