The Bruins scored one of those, “did it go in goals” in the first period in Keswick tonight but play continued as the Referee was calling a delayed penalty after the puck had gone in. After consulting with his crew it was determined that it was indeed a goal by Patrick Bolahood who took a pass from back of the net and walked out in front backhanding a shot from the near post across the top of the net just inside the crossbar on the far side before colliding with the Ice goalie. Just 21 seconds later the Ice tied it up on a wrist shot from 15 feet out that eluded Uxbridge Goalie Jake Jooston. Jooston made a terrific save in close just prior as he got his shoulder on a puck that was about to enter the net off of a rebound shot. Daryl Thomson regained the lead when he took a pass on the power play at the back of the net and walked out firing a hard shot top shelf. In the second it was Jordan Nesbitt with the wrister from the top of the circle on a power play rush to up the lead to 3-1 and a highlight goal by Marco Mastrangelo gave the Bruins an insurance goal as he took a pass on his skates to his stick before firing high on the goalie’s glove side on a breakaway. The Ice added one in the third for a 4-2 final at the Ice Palace.
